After the riots, thousands of people chose 2 express their feelings on Post-it notes, covering “peace walls” or “walls of LoVe” everywhere from Manchester 2 south London.
Like the residents brandishing brooms@Clapham Junction’s clean up, ppl seemed determined 2 create some kind of antidote 2 the violence. But even w/riots over, the Post-it note phenomenon is still flourishing.
In Manchester’s Arndale shopping centre, which was targeted by rioters, hundreds of residents are having their say every day. Locals estimate the number of notes could be as many as 4,000. Peckham’s Poundland is already on its 3rd wall – w/council promising 2 preserve the “impromptu outpouring of pride & respect” in its local library.

So whu is posting the messages, and what do they hope 2 achieve?

whu gives a isht?!
